I've had these unbranded glass beads for a while, and they have almost made it to a few previous projects, but today I finally got to use them and not just put them back away! (They are a little bigger than the micro beads from ReneaBouquets)

Great-Grandma

My great grandmother, about 82 years ago!

The majority of this layout is made using products that came in the June 2019 Tres Jolie Kit Club Scrapbooking Kit (product list below), and was created for the June Sketch Challenge hosted by Kim & the Tres Jolie Kit Club!

I just love 49 & Market, and those laser cut shapes made this layout go together much faster than fussy cutting flowers!!

Adding some foam under the photo gives it just a little lift from the layers underneath.

I set out with a goal to see if I could use an entire package of flowers on a layout! I think it's a first for me!

I just happened it have the perfect Say It In Crystals in my stash for this project!

Another big, flower milestone for me...using a mix of flat & 3D flowers. I don't know if I've ever really succeeded at it. It always makes me panic!

A bit of the lace from the Tres Jolie Kit & a ReneaBouquets Heart Paper Clip for some little touches.

Dragonfly Express

This project actually had two sources of inspiration. The first was the ReneaBouquets June 2019 Mood Board Challenge, the second inspiration was the Creative Embellishments June 2019 Challenge. (Both sources of inspiration are below) I actually saw the Creative Embellishment challenge first, and I have a thing for hot air balloons. A looking at them from the ground thing, not an actually getting into one thing.

Anyhow, I also really wanted to use this dragonfly I had been working on, and a hot air balloon doesn't need any help flying, so it (slowly) transformed into a flying ship! Besides the flying in the Creative Embellishment inspiration, I also love the whimsy of the image, and the Ferris wheels made me think of actual wheels!

The following photos were taken in a more shaded area, because my front porch had a convenient hook I could use to get some greenery in the background and not have to hold the project in one hand while shooting with the other! LOL!!

And here are some photo of the dragonfly while it was still grounded! [Note: I found the dragonfly in my yard, buried in the dirt by a tree, apparently left by the previous owners. It was shortly after finding it that I came across a Finnabair DT members (I think) post in Instagram who used Finnabair's Leaves to build butterfly wings (I think it was a butterfly) and a solution to my broken wing dragonfly was born!]

Water Fairy

I love water lily's, I think they are so beautiful floating out on a pond, so I was, of course, immediately drawn to, and inspired by, the water lily in the Mixed Media Place's May Mood Board! 

I just couldn't help myself! I have a pond on my property, but I have yet to get the water lily's I want for it, so I decided to make one! (I think the husband worries they will interfere with fishing too much!)
